Tai Chi Chuan

“Tai-Chi Chuan” is a low impact Taoist martial arts practice initially performed with slow and graceful steps with distinct internal postures. The Journal of the American Heart Association reports that Tai-Chi Chuan reduces high blood pressure and bad cholesterol levels. Medical researchers identify Tai-Chi Chuan as evidence-based exercise that supports balance, reduces anxiety and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). The Arthritis Foundation supports the practice of Tai-Chi Chuan for pain control. Today many cultures around the world have benefited from this fascinating art form!

Ultimate Walking Class

“Ultimate Walking Class” is a meditation practice that trains us how to maintain a balanced stride when walking. Increase your balance and enjoy the benefits of walking with style and technique. Learn several methods to re-stabilize your walk with confidence. This is a very simple program that gets you back on your feet with pride! You were born to walk with two legs, let’s rejuvenate them with “Ultimate Walking”. This program is a mindfulness class that improves balance, posture and of course, progress in your walk. Includes basic Tai-Chi, Qigong movements and Meditation.

Qi-Yoga

“Qi-Yoga” is a unification of healing forms in one class.This practice is a blend of Hatha yoga, qigong, acupressure, meditation and sound. Millions of people around the world are benefiting from these ancient practices. Now you can experience these modalities and begin to improve your health immediately.

This class is an energetic practice using specific body movements and postures with breath control to enhance the sensitivity of Qi (energy) cultivation. It is highly beneficial for regulating the immune system and building endurance.

QXT

Qigong Cross Training is a modified fitness program based on Taoist yoga combined with internal martial arts movements. This has an internal component that opposes regular fitness programs. This consists of internal callisthenic postures used to refine the center core as to toning or contrasting the external physique. For health, QXT is a program for preserving fine health, flexibility and dexterity. It pertains mindfulness meditation, movement, standing postures and ligament stretching for internal strengthening of the musculoskeletal system which constructs power, strength and balance. QXT, an internal alternative for maintaining fitness on top of your game.

Mantra Meditation

Choose to make a healthier change with your inner awareness. Expand your mind, harvest focused attention and awaken to your human existence. Witness the complex nature of your mind and begin to steer it into the present moment. There are many good reasons why we meditate, established by the J.A.H.A. Journal of American Heart Association, Harvard Health and the Chopra Center. Meditation postulates boundless amount of positive benefits such as increase life expanse, strengthen our ability to focus on tasks, control insomnia, anxiety, addictions, pulmonary disease (COPD) and reduces cardiovascular disease. This class will provide ancient yogi breathing techniques, perfect posture, surveillance of the mind, chant mantras in Sanskrit and amass inert energy.
