4 Corners

  • Turn the left foot inward with your body turning 180° facing east. Flip the right hand open with the palm up. Step with the right foot forward into open stance. Shift the body to your center and bring your left hand under the right elbow (palm upward). Advance onto the right leg and separate the left arm from the right. Shift 99.9% on the right leg.
  • (Corner #1) Look left 45° northeast. Step forward into left open. Shift your body to your center position. Raise the left arm over your head for an open hand block. Advance 99.9% forward on to the left leg and push with the right hand extending the arm.
  • (Corner #2) Flip the right hand over with the palm facing upward. Turn the left foot inward with your body and stepping 270° northwest with the right foot into the open stance. While holding your hands still, shift to your center. Raise the right arm over your head for an open hand block. Advance 99.9% forward on to the right leg and push with the left hand extending the arm.
  • (Corner #3) Look left 45° southwest. Flip the left hand over with the palm facing upward. Step forward into left open. Shift your body to your center position. Raise the left arm over your head for an open hand block. Advance 99.9% forward on to the left leg and push with the right hand extending the arm.
  • (Corner #4) Repeat #2: Flip the right hand over with the palm facing upward. Turn the left foot inward with your body and stepping 270° southwest with the right foot into the open stance. While holding your hands still, shift to your center. Raise the right arm over your head for an open hand block. Advance 99.9% forward on to the right leg and push with the left hand extending the arm. [Pause]
